Your entries remain available for a grace period so you can export them, and are deleted afterwards.
Lifetime means no recurring costs for as long as two things hold: you are alive, and finilog exists. If either ends, access ends too — but not abruptly. In the event of your death, your legacy contacts receive the data along with the grace period you set yourself. If finilog were ever discontinued, you would have at least 90 days to export everything. The exact wording is in section 12 of our Terms.
Yes, even with a Lifetime plan you can add extra storage as a one-time purchase at any time.
Because too little of a small monthly amount survives the fees: of €0.83 a month, roughly 31 % goes to the payment processor, against about 4 % on a yearly charge. Paying yearly costs you less and leaves us more — so extra storage is yearly or one-time only.
